Completing the FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid - is the first step you’ll take to receive college funds, whether you’re seeking grants, loans, work study opportunities, or even private scholarships for next year. The earlier you submit the FAFSA the better, because money goes quickly!

Good news: Most students qualify for some aid. The average award is $5,268! You can submit the FAFSA starting October 1, 2018, to help pay for college classes in fall 2019 through summer 2020.
