Austin is home to more than 38,000 small businesses. We believe that small businesses are one factor that helped Austin to weather this most recent economic downtown better than most cities. Consider inviting the City of Austin’s Small Business Development Program (SBDP) to speak to your students about becoming entrepreneurs. Topics covered are no-cost resources available to Austin-area entrepreneurs and research to conduct before starting a business.
