General Description

  • Assists in developing and maintaining procedure manuals.

  • Assists in performing routine maintenance and in resolving routine machine, printer and software problems, such as cleaning equipment, mounting/dismounting tapes, replacing printer toner, fixing paper jams and re-prioritizing production jobs.
  • Provides general office administrative support, including, but not limited to, typing or word processing correspondence and other documents; greeting and routing visitors and telephone callers, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail; copying; and faxing.
  • Enters data into spreadsheets, databases and other automated applications.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining record-keeping and filing systems.
  • Assists in completing special projects and performs other work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience 

Applicant must be currently enrolled in and actively attending an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university, or have just completed the previous semester; and must have completed a minimum of 30 college credits by the start of the internship [Applicant will be required to submit a copy of college transcripts].
