Career Hold (CRR)
Attention: You will be unable to register until you take action on campus to end your career hold.
Dear Student:
A career hold (CRR) is placed on your file if ACC’s records do not indicate that you have chosen a major. If this information is incorrect, please visit an ACC Admissions Office to declare your major. Once that has been taken care of, you need to meet with a counselor to end the hold.
Students who declare a major save both time and money because they are more focused and take only the classes needed. Because this is an important decision, ACC places a hold on the records of students who have not yet declared a major by the time 15 and/or 30 credit hours have been earned at ACC.
A variety of services are available to assist you in selecting a major or career path. If you are unsure what major to select or would like to participate in career counseling or testing, please meet with a counselor in Student Services as soon as possible (prior to your next registration period). Otherwise, you will be unable to register for classes.
As always, we look forward to seeing you soon.
