Important textbook information

This section of MATD 0390 Intermediate Algebra, will require the use of MyMathLab software for homework assignments. When purchasing your textbook and materials for this class, please be sure to purchase something that includes MyMathLab. Your options are:

• A new book purchased from an ACC bookstore, either hard-bound or loose-leaf 3-hole, includes a MyMathLab access code. Keep in mind that the loose-leaf textbook cannot be sold back to the bookstore.
• You may instead choose to purchase MyMathLab access as a stand-alone product, and not purchase a book at all. The software includes access to an electronic form of the textbook. Access codes can be purchased from an ACC bookstore or online when registering. The cost is substantially less than the cost of a new textbook, but you should be realistic about your needs.

Most used textbooks do not include valid MyMathLab access codes. You may purchase a used textbook and MyMathLab access separately. However, this option usually costs more than a new book bundled with MyMathLab.

Be sure to save your receipt and leave shrink wrap intact until after classes begin and we have determined that you are enrolled in the most appropriate course.
