VoCAT has a 'zero reject' policy. Everyone who completes the admissions processes is admitted, until the class is filled.
HOW MANY INSTRUCTORS ARE THERE?
We have one instructor who has been with the program since it's inception in 2004. Mariah Bukowski is also the VoCAT Program Director.
HOW MANY DAYS A WEEK DO VoCAT STUDENTS ATTEND?
Classes are held three days a week, Monday through Wednesday. Each class runs two hours long with a 15minute break during each class. Classes run from 9-11am, 11-1pm and 1-3pm. Schedules may vary.
HOW DO WE PAY FOR TUITION?
There are a few options for paying tuition. Some of our students receive funding from MHMR or DARS, this process can take several weeks. Most students are self pay. In the past we have had students who have raised their tuition money through fun runs or other events.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Download the VoCAT application form. Fill out the applicable information and mail in your application. If you are receiving funding from MHMR or DARS, please have your case manager sign the form before sending it to us. Once we receive your application we will contact you to discuss the needs of the student and their goals for the upcoming semester. Their place will be held upon the receipt of the $200 per class deposit. Also. check out the Admissions info tab on the main page of this webpage.
DO I HAVE TO TAK TESTS?
Tests help us plan your classes. 'Low' scores do not prevent admission. We monitor progression not perfection.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER GRADUATION FROM VoCAT?
Some of our VoCAT students are interested in attending regular ACC courses. We offer support to students who attended VoCAT and are now attending regular ACC courses. Other students are excited to jump right into the work force and we use the VoCAT program to help them get the necessary job skills they need to be successful in the workforce. Each student has separate long term goals, we work diligently to help them achieve those goals.
