We provide Dental Assisting students a thorough education in the following areas:

  • Dental radiology procedures and techniques
  • Oral health education and preventive counseling
  • Dental assessment and treatment planning
  • Management of dental care for child, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and special needs patients
  • Assisting dental providers with all services, chairside, clinical, and up-front proceedures
  • All legally allowable services for a dental assistant in Texas including but not limited to: impressions(all types), fabrication of tray appliances, x-rays, intermediate/temporary restorations, patient education, retraction cord techniques, application of dental dams, instrument transfer, sterilization, set-ups, disinfection and asepsis technique, professionalism, treatment planning,. dental soft-ware applications, and education in all specialities included in dentistry.
