As concern for career planning grows, individuals are increasingly turning to trained career coaches in order to make informed decisions in the face of an overwhelming, and at times confusing, wealth of information.
The National Society of Career Management's Program for Career Planning was established to meet the demand for professionals trained to assist clients in planning for present and future career direction. The program enhances the students understanding of a variety of career strategies and resources, and introduces the basics of career coaching and planning. The flexibility of the program enables students to gain knowledge in all relevant areas of interest, to obtain a Certificate in Career Planning, and to prepare for the Professional Career Architect PCAš Designation Examination.
The PCAš program is perfect for individuals interested in starting a new career in career consulting, Human Resource professionals in private, public and government organizations looking to take their position to the next level, social workers and alike looking to expand their current abilities, and individuals confused about their current career and would like the knowledge to determine their next step are turning to NSCM's program. By the end of the course, these students will be empowered to pursue their own career as career consultants or be able to bring a new batch of skills to their existing careers.
Three Ways to Take This Course
- Attend all 8 classes and participate in the optional practicum and receive your designation as a Professional Career Architect (PCA), a designation you can only receive through the NSCM.
- Attend all 8 classes and receive your Certificate in Career Planning.
- Attend one class at a time in sequential order to receive subject-based professional development.
