The Audition Process

Auditioning for the choral program is an easy process.  Just contact the director, Jim Shepherd, set up a time.  Auditions times are flexible.

Our program is open to current ACC students as well as the general Austin community.  Non-ACC students may enroll under the Continuing Education Department, and high school students may enroll under the Early College Start Program.

1. Prepare a short a cappella musical selection in any style

2. You will sing a few basic vocal exercises

That's all there is to it.  The audition will only last a few minutes, and will NOT take place in a room full of judges. 

Auditions take place at the Northridge Campus, building 4000, on the first floor in a practice room.
