All-State Choir Camp

Also, registration for new camp students will be open at the ACC Northridge Campus, room 4136, on June 16 from 9-10am on a first come basis as space is available.

The 2011 Choir Camp will be June 16-18. 

How to register:

Step 1: Click "Registration Form" at the bottom of this page and fill it out.

Step 2: Select the camp price ($35 with no music, $55 with music) and pay thorugh paypal

Step 3: Print off the waiver release form, fill it out, and turn it in during camp registration

Registration is not complete until paid for in full.  A completed registration form is required and is due during registration on June 16.  You may also send the form in advance to Joy Opp at:

Dear Student,

I would like to invite you to participate in the 2011 ACC All-State Choir Camp!  This camp, led by top Austin choral and vocal educators, will be held at the Northridge campus from June 16-18.  The fee for the camp is only $55, and includes top notch instruction, the all-state music packet, and a t-shirt!  If you already have a music packet, the camp fee is only $35.  The schedule for the camp is as follows:

June 16: 9-9:45AM Registration,10AM-3:30PM, Rehearsals and Workshops

June 17: 10AM-3:30PM, Rehearsals and Workshops, ACC Musical Performance 4-5:45pm

June 18: 10AM-3:30PM Rehearsals, 4PM Concert (free to the public)

The camp will feature workshops on sight singing, audition tips, and vocal technique.  Students are invited to pack their own lunch.  There is also an affordable cafeteria on campus. 

Housing and transportation will not be provided for this camp.  If you are interested in staying overnight nearby, there are several affordable local hotels and the public bus system runs to the Northridge campus. 

The registration deadline is June 10.  Some students will be accepted after that date, but please call 512-223-4008 to ensure that the camp is not full. 

The camp will be located at the Northridge Campus (the above address) in building 4000 on the first floor in the lecture hall, room 4136 (click on the "nrgsite campus map" link below for more info).  If parking on campus, please include your vehicle’s make, model, and license plate number.  This information will be given to the campus police so you won’t get ticketed.  Feel free to park in any student spot.
