All-State Choir Camp

Dear Student,

I would like to invite you to participate in the 2009 ACC All-State Choir Camp! This camp, led by top Austin choral and vocal educators, will be held at the Northridge campus from June 24-27. The fee for the camp is only $50, and includes lunch for the first three days of camp, the all-state music packet, and a t-shirt! If you already have a music packet, the camp fee is only $30. The schedule for the camp is as follows:

June 24: 9-9:45AM Registration,10AM-4:30PM, Rehearsals and Workshops

June 25: 10AM-4:30PM, Rehearsals and Workshops

June 26: 10AM-4:30PM Rehearsals, 5-6PM Talent Show

June 27: 10-11:30AM Rehearsal, Noon Concert

The camp will feature workshops on sight singing, audition tips, and vocal technique. The ACC choir department will also perform a short one act opera called Strawberry Fields (it has a Beatles theme).

Housing and transportation will not be provided for this camp. If you are interested in staying overnight nearby, there are several affordable local hotels and the public bus system runs to the Northridge campus.

To register, simply fill out the registration and waiver forms and mail a check or money order made out to “ACC Choir” in care of:

The postmark deadline for the camp is June 8th. Sign up early because space is limited.

The camp will be located at the Northridge Campus (the above address) in building 4000 on the first floor in the lecture hall, room 4136. If parking on campus, please include your vehicle’s make, model, and license plate number. This information will be given to the campus police so you won’t get ticketed. Feel free to park in any student spot.
