Hot on the heels of his 80th birthday, the ACC Choral Department brings Sondheim’s Broadway review PUTTING IT TOGETHER to the Austin scene.

Stephen Sondheim has won more Tony Awards than any other composer, and has had his songs performed and recorded by stars from Broadway, stage and screen.

PUTTING IT TOGETHER features many of his famous showstoppers like More (which was performed by Madonna in Dick Tracy), Back in Business (which has been performed famously by Liza Minnelli), and many more tunes from musicals including Company, Merrily We Roll Along, A Little Night Music, Forum, Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, and Follies.

This show is about a wealthy couple who host a lavish party at their Park Avenue apartment in an effort to heal their failing marriage. Using both comedy and drama, this untraditional revue examines life and art through the unforgettable songs of Stephen Sondheim.

This show is recommended for ages 13 and older.
