Insert NetWare 6 operating system CD into the CD-ROM drive and reboot the computer.

When you start installation process, you see a license screen. Press F10 to accept it. |

The next screen asks you what boot partition you want to keep. You can keep existing one or
wipe disk and start over, which is the better choice. |

On the next screen you have information about hard disk. You can Modify settings
or just Continue with installation process. |

This screen checks with you if you are sure about removing all data and creating
a new partition. If you are ready to start, click Continue. |

After the boot partition has been created you will be ask to reboot. Boot partition will be
formatted and files will be copied. |

After that you will see the Novell NetWare 6 screen. |

Again the License Agreement screen will come. Press F10 to accept it. |

This screen is showing the installation options.The Express choice install all defaults. With Custom option
you have more choices during the installation process. For the next questions choose: New server. |

The next screen shows the Server Settings. You can leave defaults. Click continue. |

On the next screen you see the regional settings for server.You can make a selection or leave the defaults. |

The next screen displays the selection for the mouse type and video mode for the server. |

After all selectings are made the installation process starts the first file copy. |

The next screen displays information about device drivers, then loads and matches drivers. |

The next screen displays information about other device drivers, like storage device and network boards. |

When all drivers are loaded it is time to configure the SYS: volume. The recommendation is 4 GB for SYS. |

Now is time for installation program to copy NetWare files. You can see the file copy status on the screen. |

Next the installation wizard loads. |

The installation wizard asks for server name.You have to choose the name for your server. |

Then you have to provide the license number from one of the disks included with your software. |

The next screen displays the configuration of file system. At that point you can create a new or
more volumes. |

On the mount volumes screen you choose the option: yes. This means that the mount all volumes will happened
when server reboots. |

The next screen is a protocols screen.You have to decide what protocols you are going to use in your network.
The most popular is the IP. |

On the next screen you have the domain name service configuration.At that point of installation don't
check the box to verify the DNS information. |

The next screen is the time zone screen. You have to choose a time zone for the server site. |
  |
On the next screen you can select between the new NDS install or existing NDS tree. If this is the first NetWare
server you have to create a new tree. |

The NDS Install is the next step. You have to named the tree, choose the context for your server, the name
of your Admin user, and the initial password for that user. |

Next the installation program verifies all information and displays NDS Summary. |
  |
The next screen is about different licenses. You can decided which licenses to install. |

The next screen is a MLA License Certificate Context. |
  |
On the next screen you have a list of optional components to install. You can select all. |
  |
On the next screen you can configure IP-based services. Is better to leave on single IP. |
  |
The next screen will display Novell Certificate Server 2.21 Objects. The Novell Certificate Server must be installed
to enable secure data transmission. It is required for the NetWare Enterprise Web Server. |

Next you will have the LDAP configuration. |

On the next screen you will see components for LDAP. |
  |
Then you will see the native file access for windows and server properties. |

Another screen for native file access for windows and authentication.Choose the local option. |

On the next screen you can enter IP addresses to be attached to the CIFS Protocol. The recommended
setting is the default. |

On the next screen you can set up share points that CIFS users will see when browsing the computer
through a windows networking environment. |

On this screen you can enter NDS context, each of which will be searched for CIFS users. |

The NetWare WebAccess setup screen displays by default address. Leave it. |

On the next screen you will be asked for mail gadget, print gadget, and file gadget. |

iFolder Server Option is the next step. You need to set an IP address for it. |
