Solved margins outside of printable area of the page problem

Issue: The instructor was following the course text and the student was asked to set the margins to 0.7 Top, Bottom, Left and Right. The problem was when the setting was inputted, the following error message would be displayed: “One or more margins are set outside the printable area of the Page. Choose the Fix button to increase the appropriate margin”.

Our fix was to download the latest driver from HP. We had the latest printer driver from Microsoft but continued to experience the problem. Finally, installing the latest printer driver from HP solved the problem.

Another helpful procedure to obtain the printable area was to activate wordpad, insert the margin settings and by moving the mouse to different border fields you can see the printable area settings of the default printer.
