FRANCIS PREVE...
With a career that spans nearly two decades and runs the gamut from collaborating on worldwide hits like "Yin" and "Yang" to designing sounds and audio content for Ableton, Korg, FXpansion, and M-Audio, Francis Preve's contributions to the EDM community have earned him a unique place in the pantheon of DJ/producers. While many of his high-profile colleagues have opted to specialize, focusing their talents on production or DJing, Preve's boundless enthusiasm for sound itself has placed him squarely at the intersection of both the technology world and dance community at large.

Most recently, Preve's work has included high-profile remixes for legendary DJs like Sander Kleinenberg and Dave Seaman/Josh Gabriel, as well as pop hipsters Scissor Sisters and Dragonette. His original productions, like "Marina" and "Yin/Yang" (with Wolfgang Gartner) have received support from top-tier DJs ranging from Mark Knight to Kaskade to Tiesto.

Even with a full-time artist career taking off, Preve still manages to find time to oversee Josh Gabriel's label, Different Pieces and prepare for the launch of his own imprint, Academik, which will showcase the work of his growing squadron of protégés and apprentices.
