Preparing Students for the Future
Across the country, community-based organizations and college access programs are working with youth to promote a college-bound culture among first-generation and traditionally underserved student populations. This helps to increase the number of area high school students attending postsecondary education.
Here at ACC, the College and Career Preparatory Programs (CCPP), along with other programs in our High School to College mission, work with K-12 and post-secondary staff, programs, and services; customers and constituents, the Austin and Lockhart ISDs, and other Austin Community College District staff.
The program's goal is to provide students information on the importance of attending postsecondary education and facilitating that important life-changing transition.
