Financial Overview

The Austin Community College’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (ACC CPPPS) is a non-profit housed under the department of External Affairs. As the first public policy center of its kind in the nation at a community college, the CPPPS takes its fiduciary and programming responsibilities very seriously. Therefore, whereas our operational expenses (salary, computer equipment, phones, etc.) are paid for by the ACC District, the funds generously provided by the community are restricted to pay for our student programming.  Funds for programming - which is often described by our supporters as educational, interactive, entertaining, and innovative -are spent efficiently, in line with our mission and vision, and with the intention of reaching as many ACC students as possible. Information about our student events can be found here.

A more in depth look at the 2011 CPPPS finances and events can be found in the 2011 Annual Report which will be completed in May 2012. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests.

Sincerely,
William “Peck” Young
