Susan Long Haga was educated at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University (MFA 2001) where she studied dramatic writing and at the University of Southern California where she earned an MA in Professional Writing. Her plays have been produced in New York, Los Angeles, and Austin. She has received writing awards from the Kennedy Center and the American College Theatre Festival, Barnes and Noble, The Goldberg Playwriting Award, the Eugene O'Neill National Playwrigting Conference, the Southern Literary Festival, and the Deep South Writer's Conference. Susan has also published poetry and fiction and has taught writing at New York University, City University of New York, the University of Southern California, Saint Edwards University, and Austin Community College.
