The Land Surveying & Geomatics program is designed to prepare students for employment in surveying at a technician level and for certification by the Texas Board of Land Surveying as a Surveyor In Training (SIT). It is intended to provide general education supporting related academic work so that the student is prepared to advance through further application and study for registration as a Public Surveyor. Students are able to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree (64 credit hours) or a certificate (32 credit hours) in Land Surveying & Geomatics.
