Composition II
Introduction and Purpose of Course
Composition II is a second semester continuation of
Composition I. Students are expected to read, discuss, analyze, and write about
short stories using college level writing skills.
Course Prerequisites
- Credit
for ENGL 1301 or the equivalent is required.
- Students
who have not completed the prerequisite class will be required to withdraw
from Composition II after the second week of class.
- Students
are expected to furnish proof that 1302 has been taken within the first
two weeks of class.
Objectives
- Upon
completion of this course, the student should be able to think, read, and
write critically; effectively use analytical writing, critically analyze
fiction; appreciate and understand how the elements of fiction work
together.
