Dance

Express yourself through dance

ACC’s Dance Program is designed to provide a comprehensive and diverse education to dance majors and nonmajors alike. The program provides students with a wide range of performance experiences and opportunities to work with professional choreographers and instructors in preparation for a career in dance or to become an informed arts patron. Upon completion of the associate degree, students can transfer to a four-year institution to complete their bachelor’s degree in dance.

Skills You Gain

Courses cover aspects of performance, critical analysis, and historical knowledge, while exposing you to artistic and cultural diversity. Students are trained in ballet, jazz, modern dance, improvisation, and choreography.
