The ancient art of jewelry making is as vibrant today as ever. Austin Community College’s Jewelry Program provides hands-on instruction in designing, fabricating, casting, and repairing jewelry, in addition to soldering and stone setting. With decades of experience in every corner of the market, our faculty will give you the foundation for success.

Skills You Gain

Students can gain expertise in designing, fabricating, casting, or repairing jewelry, in addition to soldering and stone setting — skills that aid in the production, marketing, and sale of jewelry.

Employment Opportunities 

Graduates can work in a retail store selling, repairing or assisting customers; for a larger organization in the manufacture and production of a commercial jewelry line; or as an entrepreneur jeweler/business owner who designs jewelry, performs bench work, runs a retail outlet, or does wholesale work for other companies.
