Austin Community College’s Computer Information Technology Program helps you become proficient in valuable skills, such as configuring, installing, and maintaining networks; administering and supporting computer applications; and implementing and monitoring information security systems.

Career Information

With a new emphasis on cloud computing, big data, and the “Internet of things,” demand for computer information technology workers continues to grow faster than the national average. This field also boasts a median wage of as much as twice the average for all occupations.
