Make a difference in the lives of children with a child development degree from Austin Community College. Our Child Development Program prepares you to enter the early childhood profession or advance your knowledge and skills. Professionals have an important role in working directly with young children and their families in a variety of positions in early care and education settings.

Career Information

Courses cover child development, relationships, behavior, diversity, curriculum, guidance, and health — everything students need for a variety of early-childhood careers. Students also have an opportunity to apply what they’re learning at our nationally accredited childcare center.
