Checking Prerequisites

It is mandatory that you check each of your students in each of your classes to be sure the student is in the appropriate level. Please find the PRE-REQ FORM and INFORMATION here.

You are required to turn in a prerequisite form to Mary Corredor by the end of the second week of classes.

Follow these instructions for checking prerequisites:

1. Log in to Datatel and use TSUM for checking test scores and STAC for checking past classes. Use the student ID number to look up each student in your class (both credit and CE).

Important: When using TSUM and STAC, be sure to scroll down in order to view all records. You can use the down arrow key to scroll down. You will be looking for a score within the range of your course through TSUM or for a passing grade in the class before yours through STAC.

2. Check to be sure that the student's assessment scores (Placement Tests) correspond to the class level (see Placement Charts below) or that the student has passed the class before yours with a grade of C or better.
