3D Geometries
Geometric shapes for molecules will be listed under generic formulas using the following symbols:
A = central atom
B = atoms attached to the central atom
U = unshared electron pairs
For example, AB4 stands for a central atom with four other atoms attached, e.g., CH4. AB3U stands for a central atom with 3 other atoms attached, and a lone pair of electrons on the central atom. An example of this would be NH3.
With the plug-in loaded, you will be able to move the molecules around using the mouse. Click here to see a list of available geometric shapes.
