Professional Biography

Welcome to my bio page.

My professional career began after I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in December of 1995 with a BSEE. Since then I have worked in software development for a local electronics company in the test and measurement industry and  I am currently a programmer/analyst for the Texas Legislative Council.

Some of my industry work includes characterizing fiber optics cables and connectors, data acquisition systems to monitor satellite systems, and automation of automotive parts production. I have authored the Software Development Process and Configuration Management used at previous employment in an effort to help them become ISO 9000 compliant.

I obtained my Microsoft Certification in Visual Basic 6.0 in August of 1999.

I began my career as a computer science instructor in August of 1999, and have taught Intro to Visual Programming, Fundamentals of Programming, and C++ Programming at ACC. I have also taught Visual Basic, Intro to Databases and Software Processes to industry employees here in Austin and in Monterrey, Mexico.
