Medical laboratory technicians perform a wide range of routine to complex laboratory procedures to analyze blood, body fluids and other biological samples to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of patient conditions. Program graduates work in hospitals, minor emergency centers, physicians’ offices, clinics, research laboratories, private industry, forensic laboratories and blood donor centers.
