MRI Technologists are imaging professionals who, under the supervision of a Radiologist, operate MRI equipment to obtain three dimensional images of the human body. MRI Technologists can work in hospitals, imaging centers and medical clinics.

This certificate program provides advanced classroom and clinical instruction in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Completion of the prescribed curriculum will help prepare the student for the Advanced Certification Examination in Magnetic Resonance Imaging administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Admission is limited to applicants currently certified in one or more of the following modalities: Radiology (ARRT), Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB), Radiation Therapy (ARRT) or Sonography (RDMS).

The MRI program is offered based on sufficient enrollment.
