A phlebotomist is an individual trained to collect blood samples using a variety of techniques, either for clinical laboratory testing or for blood donations. This one semester program allows graduates to fill vital roles in hospitals, clinics and research facilities. Courses required for this certificate are applicable to the Associate of Applied Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology.
