Teach & Engage in the ACCelerator

The ACCelerator’s flexible space, technology and additional learning & student support services facilitates innovative teaching opportunities and collaborations to provide a true focus on the students. Faculty and staff can reserve a classroom, pods space and study rooms for teaching a course, instructor-students meetings, departmental meetings or space for work.

Classrooms & Class Structure

There are three (3) classrooms in the ACCelerator; CR-1101, CR-1201 and CR-1202.

  • CR-1201 and CR-1202 are traditional 20 seat classrooms with a computer projector.
  • CR-1101 has 36 seats with a computer projector. Note: CR-1101 is designated as the Special Events/Workshop room. CR-1101 can be used for class but there are restriction and flexibility issues.

Pod Spaces/Zones

The majority of instructors utilize pod space for teaching. There are over 110 pods. Classes are scheduled side by side within 6 pods, for a total of 24 students per class. Flexibility with pod spacing does permit expanding or reducing class size.
