Teach & Engage in the ACCelerator

Transform your classroom in the ACCelerator

Interact with students in a space that fosters dynamic learning. The ACCelerator features classrooms, study rooms, and numerous computer pod stations that can be reserved by ACC faculty and staff for a variety of purposes. Whether you want to teach a class, hold a meeting, or do some lesson planning, you’ll be able to take full advantage of the ACCelerator’s many support services and technological resources. Here, the possibilities for education are seemingly endless.

Classrooms & Class Structure

There are three (3) classrooms in the ACCelerator: CR-1101, CR-1201 and CR-1202.

  • CR-1201 and CR-1202 are traditional 20 seat classrooms with computer projectors.
  • CR-1101 has 36 seats and a computer projector. Note: CR-1101 is designated as the Special Event/Workshop room. It can be used for class but there are some restrictions.

Pod Spaces/Zones

The majority of instructors utilize pod spaces for teaching. There are over 110 pods. Classes are scheduled side-by-side and can accomodate 24 students per class. Flexibility with pod spacing does permit expanding or reducing class size.
