11/2/09 Update:
The plans have been submitted to the City of Austin for Site Development permit review several weeks ago and we remain on schedule.  We anticipate advertising for bid in early January. 

09/21/09 Update: 
The scope of the project has increased significantly to accommodate the unexpected level of growth in enrollment this year.  The project initially called for an additional 200 parking spaces and we have adjusted the scope to include an additional 438 parking spaces total.  There will be another driveway into the Pinnacle Campus and the new parking will connect with existing parking areas for improved circulation.  ACC is working diligently with the Civil Engineer to expedite the project to maintain the original schedule with the additional scope added for design, permitting and construction.  The photo taken from the 10th Floor shows Convict Hill at US Hwy 290 and the adjacent property where the new driveway and parking will be constructed. 

Update 8/14/09:
ACC recently acquired an additional 36.5 acres directly adjacent to the East of the Pinnacle Campus.  Another driveway into the property is being designed at the intersection of US Hwy 290 and Convict Hill Road.  In addition, the parking will be increased by another 200 spaces.  The driveway and parking expansion is currently being designed.  The plans will be submitted to the City of Austin for permit review within the next few weeks.  We are anticipating having the construction complete in August 2010 to relieve the parking shortage that currently exists at this campus
