——————————————————————————————————— Can I retake a class if I have already received credit for it?Yes. You may retake a class that you have previously received credit for on your transcript, however, you must be aware that you can not use the same class twice to fullfil degree plan requirements. If doing so to replace an existing grade, please see your advisor for further information on grade replacement. Back to Top Can I use the CLEP or Placement Exam from another school as prerequisite to a higher level language course at ACC?Yes. The grade from your CLEP or Placement Exam must appear on your academic transcript in order to be used as prerequisite to a higher level course. Contact your institution or the institution where you took the exam to request having the grade reported on your academic transcript prior to taking a higher level course. Please note the exam score itself will not allow you into a higher level course.Back to Top Can I take the CLEP or Course Challenge at ACC if I am not a student?Yes. However, you will not receive a grade on your transcript until you have taken at least one course at ACC. Back to Top Do you offer Distance Learning Foreign Language courses?Yes, we offer distance learning for our Spanish I and II courses only. These classes are very limited and therefore are offered specific times of the year and require access to a computer and microphone.Back to Top How can I get into a "closed" or "filled" class? It is college policy that students may not be allowed into a class once it has been closed.
