Welcome to the ACC Foundation!

There are great things happening at ACC right now - new campuses opening, co-enrollment programs with UT and Texas State, development of the largest math emporium in the country...

This growth means more opportunities for our students and the community.  ACC has three new campuses in the works, which will be completed in the next 18 months.  This fall, the Elgin Campus will open.  In addition to general education courses, two new programs - Veterinary Tech and Agricultural Entrepreneurship - will anchor that campus.  This will be followed by a new campus in Hays County  in spring 2014 then the final expansion for the year will be the opening of the Highland Campus at the former site of Penny's at Highland Mall in central Austin.  The Highland Campus will be the location for our Math Emporium, an innovative lab for individualized math learning, which wil be the largest in the country with room for 600 students.

These expansions will provide greater accessibility to higher education and a greater need for private support.  The ACC Foundation is on target to provide over $500,000 in scholarships next fall and we are able to do this because of you - individuals and the business community - who have joined us to make dreams a reality.

The Austin Community College Foundation was established in 1991 to expand higher education and training throughout the Austin Community College District. Its mission is to raise funds to ensure student success and develop community support for the college. The Foundation is led by a volunteer board of business and community leaders whose dedication to education supports and allows for the growth of College initiatives. An established set of values guides the Foundation in its actions and a shared vision with ACC yields well-articulated strategies for these actions. Members of the board of directors share an inspired passion to assist the ACC in achieving excellence, which, in turn, will impact our community, students, and employers. Over $7 million has been raised through the Foundation to support college programs and scholarships.
