Purpose: To provide financial assistance to Seton Medical Center Austin employees, their spouses, and children currently enrolled in a medical program at Austin Community College appropriate in a hospital environment.
Amount: Three $2500 scholarships for tuition, fees and books.
Criteria:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in all college work.
- Students coming out of high school must have a B average in high school coursework.
- Major must be in a Health Sciences program.
- Financial need (as determined by the ACC Financial Aid Office).
Terms of Scholarship:
- Successfully complete the required semester curriculum for the degree plan with a 3.0 GPA.
- Scholarship must be used within one academic year.
- Re-application necessary each academic year.
To apply, complete the ACC General Scholarship Application online (www.austincc.edu/foundation) or submit paper application and return it to any ACC Financial Aid Office.
This scholarship will be open to the general population if there are no applications from Seton Medical Center Austin employees, their spouses, or children.
