Tom Pittman Scholarship

Purpose:    To assist students enrolled in the ACC Music Program.

Amount:     The number of awards and the dollar amount will be based on the funds available.

 

Criteria:

 

• Reside in the ACC service area.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA in Music courses and a 2.5 GPA overall.
• Financial need (as determined by the ACC Financial Aid Office).
• An essay indicating musical background and performance experience.  Recordings of performances may be submitted. 

Terms of Scholarship:

• Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, and books only.
• May only be used toward a degree in Music.
• Successfully complete a minimum of nine hours with a 3.2 GPA in Music courses and a 2.5 overall GPA while on scholarship.
• Scholarship must be used within the academic year it was awarded.
• Re-application necessary each academic year.

Application Deadline:   June 1st of each year
