SEMI /Franks Squires Scholarships

Purpose:

 

To assist students enrolled in the ACC Electronic and Applied Technologies Program with specialization in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Automation Robotics, Nano Technology, Electronics Technician, Renewable Energy or Bio-Instrumentation or in the ACC Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design Program with specialization in Electronic Graphics, Interdisciplinary, Mechanical or Integrated Circuit Layout & Design.

Criteria:

 

• Students with previous college work must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
• Graduating high school seniors must have a minimum 2.75 GPA
• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
• Enroll in a minimum of six hours
• Two letters of recommendation from school staff or employer.  At least one letter must be from a ACC faculty in the department of your specialization.
• Demonstrate financial need as determined by ACC

 

To apply, complete the ACC General Scholarship Application online or submit the paper application to any ACC Financial Aid Office.

Terms of Scholarship:

• The scholarship will cover tuition, fees, books, and lab kits up to $2000 split between two semesters.
• Successfully complete a minimum of six hours with a 2.5 GPA.
• Re-application necessary each year.

 

Application Deadline:   June 1st - Fall/ November 1st - Spring
