Austin Classical Guitar Society Scholarship

Purpose:    To assist students enrolled in the ACC Music Program who show musical ability in guitar.

Amount:     $2,500 for tuition, fees, and books.

 

Primary Criteria:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA in Music courses and 2.5 GPA overall.
• Financial need (as determined by the ACC Financial Aid Office).
• One letter of recommendation from a classical guitar instructor
• An essay indicating musical background and future goals. 

 

Terms of Scholarship:

• Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
• Successfully complete a minimum of nine hours with a 3.0 GPA in Music courses and a 2.5 overall GPA while on scholarship.
• Scholarship must be used within the academic year it was awarded.
• Re-application necessary each academic year.
