Carus Dental Scholarship

 

Purpose:

           

To assist students enrolled in the second year of the ACC Dental Hygiene Program.

Criteria:

 

• Student must be enrolled in their second year of Dental Hygiene curriculum while on scholarship
• Overall GPA of 3.0
• Essay should address why the student has chosen to enter the field of dental hygiene

 

To apply, complete the ACC General Scholarship Application and return it, with all required attachments, to Renee Cornett, Department Chair, Dental Hygiene, Austin Community College, 3401 Webberville Road, Austin, TX 78702

 

Terms of Scholarship:

• The scholarship will cover tuition, fees, books, and licensing exams up to $2500
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA overall while on scholarship.
• Must be enrolled in approved Dental Hygiene program curriculum for degree plan.

 

Application Deadline:   June 1st of each year
