Singleton Culinary Scholarship for

African American and Hispanic Female Chefs

Purpose:

 

To assist female African-American and Hispanic students enrolling in the ACC Culinary Arts program.

Criteria:

• Culinary Arts  major
• Must enroll in a minimum of six hours each semester
• Must have a high school diploma or GED or 3.0 GPA for all college coursework
• Cooking demonstration and interview with the Culinary Arts Scholarship Committe

 

 

To apply, complete the ACC General Scholarship Application online or submit the paper application to any ACC Financial Aid Office.

 

Terms of Scholarship:

 

• Scholarship award will be $2500 over two semesters.  
• Recipient chosen by the Culinary Arts Scholarship Committee.
• Students must successfully complete a minimum of six hours each semester with a 3.0 GPA while on scholarship.  Students coming out of high school or holding a GED who are awarded a scholarship must achieve a 3.0 GPA after their first semester to continue their scholarship for a second semester.
• Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, and books.
