Purpose:
To assist students attending ACC.
Criteria:
- Based on applicant’s academic achievement, community involvement, personal statement, leadership, and financial situation
- Reside within ACC’s taxing district
- Be a United States Citizen
- Enroll in a minimum of six hours
- Have earned at least a 2.25 GPA or GED equivalency as a first-time, former, or current ACC student
- Preference is given to first time college students
- Submit a typed double spaced essay of 300 words or more explaining his/her educational and career goals
To apply, complete the ACC General Scholarship Application and return it to any ACC Financial Aid Office. All information regarding your financial situation must be fully completed on the application.
Terms of Scholarship:
- The number of awards and the dollar amount will be based on the funds available
- Successfully complete a minimum of nine hours with a 2.25 GPA.
- Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, books
