Purpose:
To assist single women with dependents pursuing education in a vocational or career area that will result in either an associate of applied science degree or certificate.
Criteria:
- Have custody of one or more dependents
- Registered in a one year certificate or an associate of applied science two year degree program at ACC
- Must have a 3.0 GPA overall
- Enroll in a minimum of nine hours
- Be a high school graduate or have a GED
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by ACC
To apply, complete ACC’s General Scholarship Application and return it to any ACC Financial Aid Office.
Terms of Scholarship:
- This is a $5000 scholarship that will be divided into $1250 increments over four semesters
- Successfully complete a minimum of nine hours with a 3.0 GPA each semester
- Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, and books only
