The Rourke Family Foundation Scholarship

Purpose:

 

To assist single women with dependents pursuing education in a vocational or career area that will result in either an associate of applied science degree or certificate.

Criteria:

 

• Have custody of one or more dependents
• Registered in a one year certificate or an associate of applied science two year degree program at ACC
• Must have a 3.0 GPA overall
• Enroll in a minimum of nine hours
• Be a high school graduate or have a GED
• Demonstrate financial need as determined by ACC

To apply, complete ACC’s General Scholarship Application and return it to any ACC Financial Aid Office.

Terms of Scholarship:

 

• This is a $5000 scholarship that will be divided into $1250 increments over four semesters
• Successfully complete a minimum of nine hours with a 3.0 GPA each semester
• Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, and books only

 

Application Deadline:   June 1st of each year
