Purpose:
To assist students enrolled in the ACC Electronic and Applied Technologies Program with specialization in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Automation Robotics, Nano Technology, Electronics Technician, or Bio-Instrumentation or in the ACC Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design Program.
Criteria:
- Students with previous college work must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Graduating high school seniors must have a minimum 2.75 GPA
- Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
- Must register in the Electronic and Applied Technologies Program with specialization in Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Automation Robotics, Nano Technology, Electronics Technician, or Bio-Instrumentation or the Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design Program at ACC
- Enroll in a minimum of six hours
- Two letters of recommendation from school staff or employer. At least one letter must be from a ACC faculty in the department of your specialization.
- Demonstrate financial need as determined by ACC
To apply, complete the ACC General Scholarship Application and return it to any ACC Financial Aid Office. Please contact the Electronics and Applied Technologies program advisor at 223-6404 for further information.
Terms of Scholarship:
- The scholarship will cover tuition, fees, books, and lab kits up to $2000 split between two semesters.
- Successfully complete a minimum of six hours with a 2.5 GPA.
- Re-application necessary each year.
