Taking the GED offers many students the opportunity to return to an educational environment and take a new direction in their career. We're happy to give you the support you need to take this important step at Austin Community College Adult Education, where we offer classes in GED preparation at several locations.

Just a reminder that you can take the GED if:

• You have not received a high school diploma or a high school equivalency
  diploma; and
• You are not currently attending high school; and
• You are at least 16 years old.
