Whatever happened to Informal Classes?
In 2010 the Texas Union cancelled its long-running (since 1971!) Informal Classes program in an effort to reduce operating costs. To fill the demand, UT's Continuing Education department has taken over the Informal Classes program.
They do not have a computer lab anymore, but Informal Classes again offers many of the Adobe courses I taught (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) to those who can provide their own laptops and a recent version of the software. I teach a Beginning HTML5/CSS3 class and Animation with CSS/JavaScript (called Interaction Design with HTML5 at ACC) through them as well.
