Grants Development Mission:
The mission of the Austin Community College District Grants Development Office is to help faculty, staff, and administration to secure external funds for the college’s outstanding programs and services.
Grants Development Goals:
- To provide excellent customer service to the college community;
- To serve as a resource for faculty, staff, and administration regarding the grants development process; and
- To submit high-quality, competitive grant proposals that are aligned with the college’s master plan.
Grants Development is responsible for:
- Identifying appropriate funding sources
- Securing external funds that help ensure that the College mission is met
- Fostering relationships with other departments in the College
- Facilitating a better understanding of the grant application process
- Supporting faculty, staff and administrators through the funding process
- Following a system that efficiently and effectively guides the grant application process
