Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology

HART 1441 Residential Air Conditioning

HART 1441 provides the opportunity for the HVAC student to enhance and polish their trouble shooting skills by working on a series of A/C systems with built in air-flow, electrical, refrigerant charge, and mechanical problems.

These skills include the testing of components, applications, and installation of mechanical air conditioning systems including operating conditions, troubleshooting, repair and charging of air conditioning systems.

Students in this course also recover refrigerant, replace the compressor, test for leaks, evacuate the system and charge to proper operating conditions.

The majority of the work in this course is “Hands-On” lab exercises. If you are mechanically inclined and a hands-on person, this course is your challenge.
