Services are provided by graduate student clinicians under the supervision of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
The Center follows the University's academic calendar, offering treatment services during three 10-13 week semesters each year:

• During the two long sessions (fall and spring semesters), evaluations, hearing aid fitting and dispensing, and individual and group speech therapy services are available.

• During the summer, our speech pathology program offers two to three week intensive group therapy sessions.

• During the summer, our audiology program offers full audiological services.

About: The Samaritan Center has been saving lives, healing emotional wounds and giving hope to Central Texas families. We are a non-profit, interfaith counseling center whose mission is to promote wholeness and healing by offering affordable services that integrate the mental, spiritual, emotional, physical, and community dimensions of life. We serve Children, Youth, Women, Men, Older Adults, Veterans and Military Families from our main office in Central Austin, or one of our satellite locations in East Austin, San Marcos, Round Rock and Georgetown.

Many health insurance and managed care plans provide for a portion of the standard fee and clients pay their co-pays and deductibles. For those without insurance, fees are determined according to gross annual income and family size. Scholarships are available for counseling services based on financial need thanks to generous support from St. David's Community Health Foundation, St. Luke's Episcopal Health Charities, Trull Foundation, and contributions from generous churches, corporations, and individuals.
