Single Point Of Entry (SPOE) is the centralized telephone intake for the Austin Travis County MHMR Center. SPOE Specialists provide the initial phone contact with consumers. SPOE conducts a brief screening with callers to determine if s/he might be eligible for ATCMHMR services, and, if so, what division of ATCMHMR would best meet the consumer's needs. SPOE also schedules the intake appointments. More in-depth clinical and financial screenings are done at the intake appointments. SPOE refers callers to other agencies in the community when appropriate. |

About: Capital Area Mental Health Center (CAMHC) provides low cost psychological counseling services to the central Texas community. We offer services to address virtually all mental health issues, including:
Depression
Anxiety
Marital or relationship issues
Sexual, physical or emotional abuse
Family Violence
Bipolar
Borderline personality
Social isolation
And more
CAMHC is virtually the only central Texas program which provides services with no session limits. The length of service is based only on the clinical needs of the client.
CAMHC's income-based fees allow consumers access to affordable, high quality, comprehensive, mental health services.
Our fees range from $10 to $50 per session, and are based on income and household size. Session fees are due at the time they are provided. For your convenience we accept cash, checks and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard).
A 10% discount is available to clients if they pay in advance for at least 4 sessions.
In order to ensure your confidentiality and focus on your specific needs, we do not accept 3rd party (insurance) payments. |

About: Cedar Crest offers a range of programs for children and adolescents who suffer from emotional illness or "dual diagnosis" (both psychiatric and chemical dependence problems). From short-term, crisis-oriented acute hospitalization to longer, residential treatment, to outpatient follow-up and counseling, we treat youngsters who have a variety of needs. Family involvement is a key component, as a goal of treatment is to strengthen the family as a whole and to prepare the patient, parents, and siblings for a successful return home.
Cedar Crest's Acute Care Hospital Program is a psychiatric intensive care program designed to stabilize a child or adolescent's immediate crises while providing the patient and family with skills to help prevent or minimize future incidents that would require readmission. |

About: Austin Child Guidance Center provides mental health evaluation and counseling services to youth under 18 years old who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or social problems and their families. The mission of the Austin Child Guidance Center is to improve the mental health of children and their families through early intervention, diagnosis and treatment to help them develop the emotional skills for meeting life's challenges.
A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors provides individual, family, and group therapy; psychiatric and psychological services; parent education; community presentations and consultations; and training to current and future mental health professionals.
Psychological services cost $100/hour and psychiatric services cost $125/hour. A sliding fee scale is available based on family size and income. |

| About: College Students - This is a 10-session education, strategy, and support group for college students with ADHD. The group is designed to teach systems and strategies that will improve one's chances for success at college, by addressing the role that ADHD plays in a student's college lifestyle. Group members can range from high school seniors to anyone who is currently in or planning to get back into college. The group is small enough that each person will have a chance to participate and receive individualized attention. The course material covers such topics as better organization; beating procrastination; managing finances; nutrition; time management; and survival strategies for boring classes, getting out of bed, remembering things and cramming. |
