About: The Austin Stress Clinic's mission is to create alternatives for change to individuals and families affected by violence so that they can transform themselves and their communities. ASC will work on its mission through the demonstration of respect for all clients, the provision of psycho-educational groups to create awareness and learning, and working in collaborations with other community organizations.
The Austin Stress Clinic's programs are curriculum based. These include a variety of topics, activities, and learning experiences that allows students in a safe environment to build understanding, awareness, reflections, and to learn about the effects of violence in their own life and alternatives on how to make changes.
ASC is a privately owned business which specializes in providing psycho-educational classroom-based programs to voluntary and court-ordered clients. |
