If you are interested only in the EMT-Basic class (to become a volunteer, firefighter, etc.) then all you have to do to get your application is work through the EMT-Basic online information session on this website.

You will receive an email approximately 1-2 weeks before the Information Session with details about the meeting location and any other pertinent information. If you have any questions about the Information Session, application process, admissions requirements, etc., please contact Eric Merino, the department's Administrative Assistant at ems@austincc.edu or by phone at (512) 223-5918.

Information Session dates are usually selected in the last week of a semester for the following semester (i.e. in the last week of classes in December for the Spring semester). If all Information Session dates have passed, check back again towards the end of the semester for an updated list.
